Another Great Leadership Summit!

The Global Leadership Summit, a Willow Creek Association event, just celebrated its 15th year and was simulcast to 400 cities around the world on August 5th and 6th. The mission of the Leadership Summit is “to transform Christian leaders around the world with an injection of vision, skill development, and inspiration for the sake of the local church.”

Aspen Group has been a long-time believer in the value the Leadership Summit brings to church and ministry leaders, business leaders, and Aspen employees.  Several Aspen team members attended the 2010 summit at various locations.

Bill Hybels hosts the event each year and brings in a variety of speakers to talk about all facets of leadership.  This year had an exceptional line-up of speakers who opened our eyes to different ways to think about leadership and organizational development, and also challenged and encouraged us.  A great summary of each of the speaker’s sessions is available at http://www.timschraeder.com/category/notes/willow-creek-global-leadership-summit-2010/.
