The "Outlook" is looking good!

I had the opportunity earlier this week to visit a couple of our church project jobsites in the Indianapolis area. As is so often the case, it was encouraging to see the progress on the buildings as months of planning become reality in a visible, tangible way.

2077325-1719430-thumbnail.jpgThe projects were a bit of a study in contrasts.  At Trinity Baptist in Westfield, IN, we are doing an addition to a wood-frame structure that will provide several new classrooms and flexible multipurpose space.  Tom Shields is the Field Construction Manager on the project and, incidentally, just celebrated his 20th anniversary with the company!

As you can see from the pictures, this is a pre-cast building.  The multi-purpose room will be used for worship, with a seating capacity of 700+ and will also have drop-down goals for three basketball courts. The balance of the facility is made up of admin, classrooms and connecting spaces. Mike Cox is the Field Construction Manager on the Outlook project.2077325-1719580-thumbnail.jpg

Every project has its challenges and these are no exception.  The satisfaction comes in working through the difficulties as a team and seeing the culmination of a ministry tool coming "on line" as these will be very soon!
