Hamilton Hills -- Completed Project Photos

As noted in a previous blog post, we just completed the addition of a Children's Ministry Wing at Hamilton Hills Baptist Church in Fishers, IN.  I have posted a selection of some professional photos taken last week in the Photo Gallery for your enjoyment.

It's time to register for the next Cornerstone Conference in Chicago!

As much as I hate to admit it -- having been caught off guard this week by the ads for "back to school" shopping -- the summer is slipping by and it's time to start thinking about the fall Cornerstone Conference in Chicago. I just put the Reminder postcard in the Downloads section of the blog.  The brochure is still there as well. Check them out and then call 888-595-7360 or go to the website to register.

Off to Mexico!

2077325-1738877-thumbnail.jpgI have the privilege of joining a work team going to our church's orphanage in Magdalena, Mexico next week (so this blog will be quiet for awhile).  All prayers are welcome and appreciated!  If interested check out the Casa Vida y Esperanza blog.  Dios le bendiga!

Sneak Preview of the Moraine Postcard

2077325-1736109-thumbnail.jpgOnce again I'm pleased to present the completion of another exciting Aspen Project -- the renovation/expansion of Moraine Valley Church! On Monday we'll be mailing a postcard to churches throughout Illinois and Indiana highlighting the project.  You can get a sneak preview at the Downloads section of this blog.

As noted in previous posts, we were privileged to help MVC design and build a renovation of their sanctuary and an expansion of new lobby and cafe space. There are several pictures in the Photo Gallery for you to check out.

One of the exciting stories that came out of the planning phase of this project was the way new research from the Cornerstone Knowledge Network was applied in the design.  In 2007 we completed a research project in which formerly unchurched people were asked which parts of the church facility were their favorite. The sanctuary came out on top of the list.  Armed with this information, the project team re-prioritized the master plan. The outcome: a significant increase in the level of support from the congregation!

So here's the deal, CKN does the research, Aspen applies it in real life!

Watch the mail for your postcard!
