I had the opportunity to visit our renovation project at Parkview Christian Church just before leaving on vacation (the vacation being the main reason this blog has been silent for awhile!). You may have noticed the pictures in the Photo Gallery – if not, check them out.

As you will see, we are creating a new Kidz Connection space in what used to be Parkview’s main worship center. The former offices – replaced by the administration space renovation we did earlier this year – are being made into new nursery space. And the basement of the main worship center – which had been unfinished until now – is being turned into a youth center and worship venue.

As I've mentioned previously, we are privileged to be working with Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park, IL on a series of renovation/addition projects.  The current one is a remodel of their original building into children's and nursery space as well as a new youth venue buildout of the basement of their first addition.  I thought you'd like to see this clip of Pastor Tim Harlow update the congregation on the latest renovation at Parkview:

Work has begun at Living Hope Church in Merrillville! This is another exciting Aspen project with ministry-focus at the heart of design.  Our initial Visioning and Feasibility stages revealed a family-oriented, friendly, loving church with a mission focus.  Specific facility needs surfaced to support outreach, personal growth, kids and youth and an overall image upgrade.  The Aspen Team has designed an addition/remodel with new fellowship/connecting space--including a state-of-the-art cafe--, remodeled children's and youth areas with their own connecting space and a larger narthex.
